Wall Hooks

Wall hooks are hooks mounted on the walls of houses, offices and many other places. These hooks are usually used for hanging coats, hats, pictures and any other item that can be hanged on the wall. There are many types of wall mounted hooks. They vary in the design and the material that has been used to make them. Wall hooks can improve the décor of the room. It all depends on the design you have chosen.

There are single wall hooks and there are those that come in a rail. The single ones are used for hanging one or two items at a time. The ones that can hang two items have a double hook. Most people use this hook in the bathroom for hanging bathrobes, in the bedroom and living room for pictures and in the hallway for hanging coats. The hooks for coats are usually very strong. The ones used for hanging pictures and other light décor are not so strong. The hooks that come in a rail are used for hanging many things at the same time. Most rails have more than four hooks. Four coats can be hanged on the rail. This type is good of the hallway. Visitors can hang their coats on it as they enter the house.

The main materials used for making wall hooks are; wood, plastic, metal and a combination of either of the materials. All these hooks are usually designed to be strong. The way they are mounted on the wall determines the weight of the items that will be hung on them. Hooks that are to be used for heavy material need to be mounted with thick, strong nails. The ones that are to be used for lighter material can be mounted with thin nails or adhesives.
